cur03.jpg (47744 bytes)Here are the pedals with my big feet on them. I'm considering building the baggage bin straight across like Phil Arter did, to give me some more leg room on the right. The bin has been removed for this picture, but normally the bin wall is up against my right leg.

cur04.jpg (48536 bytes)I had to use Cherry Max blind rivets to install the Ground Adjustable pedals in the Quickbuild because I could not get to the underside to buck solid rivets. The installation required 28 standard head 4-3, 4 standard head 4-5, and 2 flush head 4-4 CherryMax. At .60-.85 cents each, I think the "Max" stands for the price. I decreased Vans recommended 1 1/16" spaceing to about 29/32" to make up for any lost strength.

cur05.jpg (47876 bytes)For the installation, 2 AN470 rivets had to be removed at the forward end of the gear boxes, and countersunk to accept flush C-max. This allows your pedal rails to sit on top of them. Note the flush C-max peeking out from under the rail here.

Contrary to what I thought, these things were not easy to install. They are very hard to pull, and if you get one too close to an edge, your screwed, unless you can find a thin nosed puller. Keep this in mind when installing them.
